Procurement Manager

Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Procurement Manager to lead the procurement function and drive operational excellence across the organization. This role is responsible for developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, overseeing contract negotiations, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support business needs while optimizing cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Conduct market analysis to identify supplier opportunities and trends
- Manage procurement budgets to ensure cost‑efficiency and quality
- Oversee contracts and ensure compliance with legal and policy standards
- Manage the full procurement lifecycle — from requisition to delivery
- Optimize procurement processes for efficiency and compliance
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cost savings and supplier performance
- Mitigate supply chain risks and maintain contingency plans
- Collaborate across departments to align procurement with project needs
- Mentor and guide a team of unionized staff to deliver exceptional procurement services
- Foster a collaborative, client‑focused culture
- Set performance goals and conduct regular reviews to drive accountability and growth
- Provide training and support career development

Qualifications
