E-commerce Specialist (9 month contract)
We’re looking for a hands‑on eCommerce Specialist to support day‑to‑day digital execution during a 9‑month maternity leave contract, starting January 2026. This is an execution‑focused role suited for someone who is highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working directly in Shopify and Excel on a daily basis.
This position is focused on doing, not managing — updating the site, supporting campaigns, tracking performance, and ensuring a smooth customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Executing eCommerce initiatives that support online sales and conversion across the North American market
- Managing daily website updates and maintenance directly in Shopify, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and a strong user experience
- Supporting landing page, product page, and promotional content updates with a high level of attention to detail
- Working with internal teams and external partners to support site enhancements and UX improvements
- Monitoring site performance, speed, and functionality, and escalating issues as needed
- Supporting the execution of seasonal promotions and key eCommerce campaigns
- Tracking, analysing, and reporting on performance metrics using Excel, including sales, conversion, and campaign results
- Maintaining reports and dashboards to support forecasting and inventory planning
- Supporting email marketing execution, including campaign setup and performance tracking
- Applying SEO best practices when updating website content
- Assisting with customer research, surveys, and basic analysis
- Supporting eCommerce operational and marketing budget tracking
Key Qualifications
3+ years of experience in an eCommerce or digital marketing specialist roleHands‑on Shopify experience (required)Strong Excel skills (required), including comfort working with formulas, pivot tables, and data analysisStrong written English communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, accurate, and well‑structured contentHigh attention to detail and strong organisational skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast‑paced environmentSolid understanding of eCommerce and digital marketing fundamentalsProficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPointFamiliarity with Figma and basic UX or web development concepts is an assetThe compensation range for this role is $65,000.00 to $75,000.00.
