Position Description:
The Senior Data Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders to define analytical needs, design and maintain dashboards and reports, ensure data quality, and contribute to the development of the analytics platform. The mandate also includes backlog management, continuous improvement of data processes, and operational support to users in a dynamic and innovative environment.
Responsibilities
-Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards, along with other analytics tools.
-Participate in business and executive meetings to gather requirements and recommend BI/reporting solutions.
-Build deep knowledge of business processes and data sets across SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and connected applications.
-Analyze available data tables and propose enhancements related to data quality and visualization.
-Prioritize work within the App, Tech & Data teams to align with the analytics roadmap.
-Provide day‑to‑day support to end users on reporting platforms and data management processes.
-Prioritize features and user stories based on business value and stakeholder feedback.
-Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely delivery of high‑quality data products.
-Translate conceptual business needs into clear, functional requirements.
-Communicate product updates and project progress to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
-3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
-Experience with Agile methodology and backlog management (asset).
-Strong knowledge of business intelligence and data warehouse concepts.
-Proficiency with Power BI, Snowflake, LucidChart, Collibra, Tableau, Dataiku, or similar platforms.
-Hands‑on experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA (EWM, MM, TMS modules).
-Proven experience in business and technical requirements analysis, modeling, verification, and methodology development.
-Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
-Self‑motivated, collaborative, and committed to continuous improvement.
-Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tell stories with data.
-Detail‑oriented, quality‑driven, and enthusiastic about new technologies.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
