Position Overview :

As an Inside Sales Account Representative, you will be at the forefront of our sales efforts, responsible for identifying and engaging potential clients.

Your mission will be to understand their needs, showcase solutions, and nurture relationships to secure new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Cold Calling : Initiate outbound calls to prospective clients, exploring new opportunities.
  • Client Needs Assessment : Understand client needs and offer tailored solutions.
  • Lead Generation : Research potential leads through platforms like Panjiva, Manta, and web searches.
  • Lead Qualification : Follow up with prospects and identify decision-makers to qualify leads.
  • Account Management : Maintain a book of business and nurture existing client relationships.
  • Sales Support : Collaborate with the sales team to close deals and present all divisions to clients.
  • Client Engagement : Address client inquiries and follow up on questions.
  • Performance Tracking : Monitor biweekly revenue performance and maintain a strong pipeline.
  • CRM Utilization : Input new customer data, update changes, log calls, and opportunities, and create pricing agreements using CRM software.
  • Time Management : Maintain a weekly calendar to optimize productivity.
  • Client Retention : Follow up with house accounts to identify new opportunities and retain lost business.
  • Market Analysis : Keep an eye on open territories, top customers, and market trends.
  • Lead Sharing : Pass on qualified leads to team members and collaborate across divisions.
  • Customer Support : Work closely with all departments to meet customer needs and resolve issues.

Requirements and Qualifications :

  • Transportation Experience : Must have experience in the transportation industry.
  • Cold Calling : Comfortable making cold calls and engaging with new prospects.
  • Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Persuasion : Ability to persuade and meet sales goals.
  • Self-Motivation : Self-driven and capable of multitasking.
  • Computer Proficiency : Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM usage.
  • Team Player : Willingness to work collaboratively with the sales team and other departments.
