The Role
The STT (Software Training & Transitions) Trainer – Fixed Ops is responsible for delivering effective training and support to customers in the Service and / or Parts modules of the PBS Dealer Management Software. This role focuses on ensuring customers gain the knowledge and confidence needed to successfully use the software, both through virtual and in-person training sessions. The STT Trainer – Fixed Ops will develop a thorough understanding of all software modules, assist with new software installations, and provide ongoing support throughout the implementation process.
Job Responsibilities
- Learn and develop an understanding of all areas of the PBS software and the process for training customers on the PBS software
- Develop a strong understanding of data entry processes and other essential tasks
- Work directly with customers and train all sessions in assigned module(s)
- Maintain a positive relationship with customers, identifying customer needs and ensure they are being met
- Responds to internal and external training requests in a timely manner
- Write up tickets and investigate issues that arise, escalate issues to corresponding teams
- Ensure STT queue is monitored
- Maintain documentation and update as processes change within department
- Knowledge sharing within own module and others within STT
- Take the initiative to learn new products to increase knowledge
- Willingness to commit to an ongoing system of education and cross-training
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
MUST HAVE Skills
1-2 years’ experience in a dealership environment, with a focus in Fixed OperationsStrong computer skills are required, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software tools is essentialAbility to travel within Canada and the USA up to 1 week per month; valid passport (or US / Canadian visa, if applicable) and valid full-class driver's license are requiredAdditional Skills
