Position : Physiotherapist (PT) – WSIB Community Rehabilitation

Location : Haliburton Region

Status : Independent Contractor

Compensation : $55–60 / hour (block-funded WSIB model)

About Qualicare Durham Region

Qualicare Durham Region is expanding its rehabilitation services under a new WSIB contract to support injured workers requiring in-home physiotherapy. Our model emphasizes functional recovery, safety, and timely return to work within a professionally governed, community-based program.

Role Summary

We are seeking experienced Physiotherapists to provide in-home WSIB rehabilitation services for injured workers who cannot attend outpatient clinics. This role focuses on mobility, strength, pain management, and functional independence using evidence-based interventions.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with RN assessors and interdisciplinary team members

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years clinical experience

Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle

Compensation Model

Equivalent to $55–60 / hour

Flexible caseload depending on referral volume
