Our client is seeking a Senior Network Analyst to play a critical role in shaping and supporting the network services that underpin a large-scale, national enterprise. As a key member of the IT team, this individual will have a direct impact on the reliability, security, and performance of the organization’s digital environment, ensuring the network experience consistently meets and exceeds enterprise expectations. This role is well suited for someone who thrives in complex operational environments and enjoys using deep technical expertise to support day-to-day operations and longer-term network enhancements.
In this position, you will be responsible for investigating and resolving complex network-related issues across the organization’s infrastructure, acting as a senior escalation point for both internal teams and external vendors. You will provide subject matter expertise on a wide range of internal and customer-facing technology projects, ensuring solutions align with established standards and best practices. A strong focus will be placed on optimizing network performance and capacity, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement, and researching, implementing, and maintaining appropriate security protocols. You will also develop and maintain clear Standard Operating Procedure documentation, lead day-to-day network operations, contribute to longer-term operational planning.
The role requires hands-on experience with enterprise networking tools and platforms, including technologies such as Cisco Prime, Cisco Identity Services Engine, Junos Space, OpManager, and application delivery and load-balancing solutions such as A10 and NetScaler. You will be comfortable working in fast-moving environments, able to pivot quickly as priorities change, and capable of making sound decisions with limited information. Strong collaboration skills are essential, as this role works closely with cross-functional teams and emphasizes knowledge sharing, customer service, and clear communication.
The ideal candidate will bring a university degree, college diploma, or equivalent experience in a related discipline, along with a proven track record in senior-level network operations or support. Certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are considered strong assets, as are credentials from Juniper, Meraki, or Check Point. Additional strengths may include ITIL Foundations certification, experience leading change initiatives, or exposure to process improvement methodologies such as Lean Yellow or Green Belt. This opportunity offers the chance to make a lasting impact within a nationally significant organization while continuing to grow technically and professionally in a senior, highly visible role.
