About the role
Canadian Blood Services is looking for a Temporary full-time Field Service Representative II to join our dynamic Equipment & Automation team.
The Equipment & Automation team responsible for supporting Canadian Blood Services by providing technical support in various aspects of biomedical engineering. In this role you will be responsible for providing technical support in various aspects of biomedical engineering, as well as for supporting services on an ongoing basis for: installations, validations, preventative maintenance, demand maintenance and repairs of specified centre and/or national Equipment Services equipment. You will be responsible for documenting all activities within Canadian Blood Services equipment maintenance database, occasionally providing technical training to peers and FSR I's and other assorted duties as assigned. As a technologist, this position is seen as a senior FSR role and will be expected to have superior problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
