This role supports our Lab Automation group with headquarters in Burlington Ontario. Our team builds manufactures and installs robotic solutions globally accelerating drug discovery synthetic biology research and clinical testing for major pharmaceutical and biotechnology customers. What you will contribute:

• Collaborate with multi-functional project teams thatincludetheendcustomerApplication ScientistsProject Managers Integrators DesignersandSoftwareDevelopersto plan anddevelopETO solutions

• Optimizethe customers workflows for throughput while delivering reliable results

• Lead discussionsasthe domainexpertand provide customers with system introduction-level training

• Share feedbackwith internalteams to help drive and implement continuous improvements

Key Responsibilities

• Translatecustomerscientificrequirementstodevelop implement andvalidateautomatedworkflows usingour scheduling softwareintegrated witha widearray ofdiagnostic laboratory instruments.

• Serve as the technical lead in definingdata-handlingrequirements and configuring systems to interact with the customers Lab Information Management System (LIMS) as needed.

• Teachandoptimizerobot/movermotionand workflowsfor efficiencyand reliability

• Conduct robust testing strategies to ensure customer satisfaction andsuccessfully achieve site acceptance test (SAT) approval

• Ensure systems are integrated according to best practices and defined standard operating procedures

How will you get there

Education:

• Bachelorsdegree inscience (BiologyChemistry Computer)Engineeringorrelatedfield

Experience:

• 5yearsofrelevant industryexperience

• 3yearsin a role directly collaborating with customers in a professional environment

• Experience in Pharmaor Biotechindustriesworking withlaboratoryinstrumentation considered an asset

Knowledge & Skills:

• Highproficiencyinsoftwareproblem-solvingtechniquesand ability to troubleshoot electro-mechanicaldevices

• Strong analytical skills toidentifyand addressappropriate solutionsto complex requirements

• Proficiencywith programming languages (C Python or other)is desirable

• Familiarity with IQ/OQ validation orGxPrequirementsis considered an asset

• Solidunderstanding ofsoftware andcomputer communications

• Demonstrated ability toleadinfluenceand collaborate with customers andvariousteam functions

• Strong organization planning and time leadership skills
