Maritime Service Agent

The Agent is responsible for all Relais nordik’s activities at the port of Blanc Sablon.

In this capacity, they are responsible for running a smooth operation of the agency both in terms of customers (local and tourist) and at the administrative and operational level.

They participate in and supervise all activities directly or indirectly related to maritime service operations.

As a representative of Relais Nordik, their role will first be to ensure locally all aspects that a service involves, including customer service.

In collaboration with and under the supervision of the Director of Operations, they will ensure that the various elements essential to the proper functioning of the agency are put in place and maintained.

With his team, they will prepare the passage of the ship, ensure transshipment, and carry out the resulting follow-ups.

Focused on good processes, while maintaining a safe environment for all, they provide a reception and transport service for various goods as well as the coordination of the vehicle / passenger transport service.

They will be responsible for applying the correct coding / pricing and carrying out all necessary administrative follow-ups.

• High school diploma.
• Relevant business experience of 1 to 2 years.
• Hold a valid driving license.
• Has a skills card for driving forklifts, an asset.
• Bilingual English and French orally and in writing (essential in order to meet the needs of unilingual customers, agents and suppliers);
• Knowledge of MS Office software.
• Availability.
• Be a TEAM player.
• Be in good physical shape.
