Job Description

Summary of responsibilities : The Advisor, Training Performance and Evaluation is responsible for the analysis of training performance data, the development and implementation of training performance measurements, as well as the evaluation of our client's training programs delivered at designated Canadian airports.

They are also responsible for writing clear and concise reports, recommendations and presentations related to training programs.

The Advisor, Training Performance and Evaluation performs all other duties and responsibilities related to the position as required. What you need to succeed

To qualify for the position, you must have :

  • Graduation from a recognized college or university with a specialization in Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, another specialty relevant to the duties of the position, or relevant working experience.
  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience conducting data analysis and evaluating any type of operational program.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and developing reporting tools.
  • Experience planning, organizing and coordinating program implementation, application and effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated experience writing clear and concise reports, briefing materials, and presentations.
  • Strong knowledge of data analysis, data visualization, and statistical concepts.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Experience synthesizing findings and presenting information in a business context.

Valuable skills include :

  • Knowledge of software that can be used for data analysis, such as R, Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) or Statistical Analysis System (SAS);
  • Knowledge of relational databases, and Relational Database Management Systems (RDMSs), for example Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, and corresponding reporting tools, such as SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Power BI Report Builder, and Power BI Desktop;
  • Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL);
  • Understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS);
  • Knowledge of adult learning concepts;
  • Knowledge of the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model;
  • Knowledge of auditing principles and the ability to produce an audit program;

Specific work requirements :

  • Ability to work overtime as required;
  • Ability to travel as required;
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance; and
  • Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
