Role Description
As part of the Marketing Operations & Technology organization, the Campaign Operations Lead will manage the team and agency responsible for the execution of campaigns in our marketing automation platforms (Iterable and Marketo).
In this role, you’ll collaborate across marketing departments to bring their programs to life, with the primary focus on email campaigns. You’ll build and manage scalable processes for optimal campaign execution, from intake and requirements gathering to the campaign build, QA, monitoring, and reporting.
We’re looking for someone with email marketing expertise, business acumen, and great project management skills who can juggle multiple requests and competing priorities, build strong partnerships across marketing, and promote the adoption of best practices for email campaign execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Campaign Operations team responsible for the execution of marketing campaigns, especially focused on email programs in Iterable and Marketo
- Design and document scalable processes to support campaign operations, including campaign setup, deployment, QA and post campaign reporting
- Train and mentor campaign operations team members, providing leadership and expertise around email campaign best practices
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL, and other local variations)
- Manage the relationship and budget for third-party service providers, ensuring the smooth delivery of work between agencies and the marketing team
- Track, analyze and report on marketing campaign performance to optimize conversions and overall results
- Collaborate with Lifecycle Marketing, Field and Channel Marketing and other marketing teams to align campaign execution with business objectives
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
Requirements
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Marketing Operations, including 2+ years of leading a Campaign Operations or Marketing Operations teamSolid hands-on experience building email campaigns on marketing automation platforms (eg. Marketo, Iterable)Experience with project management tools (eg. Jira) and resource managementProven track record in making data-driven decisions to continually optimize conversions and performance of marketing campaignsWell-organised, able to prioritise tasks and handle time optimallyExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levelsHigh attention to detailAbility to foster a positive and collaborative work environmentPreferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related fieldHands-on experience with Iterable and / or MarketoGood understanding of database structure, analytics, and campaign attributionTotal Rewards
Canada Pay Range$116,000—$157,000 CAD
The range listed above is the expected annual salary / OTE for this role, subject to change.
