ABOUT THIS CAREER OPPORTUNITY
Black & McDonald is currently seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator to build high-quality metal components for our clients. As a Sheet metal fabricator, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting engineering blueprints, fabricating metal components or structures, and performing quality checks on finished products. You may also be required to set up fabricating machines and design custom templates. The position is located in Saskatoon, SK and will report directly to the Supervisor.
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, a great attitude, and a genuine passion for the trade. Sheetmetal Fabricators are required to be skilled in all manner of duct construction methods; comfortable with the use of common industry specific hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic tools; and adept at reading and interpreting technical literature. Day to day work may sometimes require long hours and lifting heavy loads.
