Reporting to the Vice President, Anti-Fraud, the Senior Manager, Anti-Fraud Member Management will play a key role in helping the industry collaboratively tackle benefits fraud and grow our Anti-Fraud programs while working with the Anti-Fraud team to develop, communicate and implement the industry’s strategy for the detection, prevention, and deterrence of benefits fraud.The position package includes : Prescription, dental and paramedical benefits, with employer paid premiumsA defined contribution pension plan with employer matchingWe also offer a competitive compensation package3 weeks paid vacation10 sick days2 floater daysWhat you will be working on : Program Development and Member Management 1.Develop and maintain knowledge of benefit fraud; key issues and opportunities affecting members and the broader industry.Keep current on member company / industry's practices, government policies and the broader anti-fraud environment (i.e. providers, TPA, law enforcement).Identify emerging developments in this space (including legislative / regulatory). Work with CHLIA’s Government Relations and the VP, Anti-Fraud to assess the implications for the organization / industry.Keep stakeholders informed of current and developing issues and opportunities.Make recommendations for and work with the Senior Manager, Anti-Fraud Program to grow / improve the industry’s programs.Co-ordinate the programs’ annual strategic development process.2.Manage the Anti-Fraud Committee and Working Group and other activities related to Anti-Fraud and the CHLIA governance structure.Manage agendas, meetings and associated collateral and communications.Prepare Chairs with briefing material and meeting guidance.Facilitate meeting discussions to review alternatives / options, provide advice and technical expertise.Develop and build consensus amongst member companies on key industry issues relating to benefit fraud.Work with the Senior Manager, Anti-Fraud Program to ensure members’ adherence to tools and contractual obligationsSupport the VP, Anti-Fraud with the development of materials related to the CLHIA’s corporate governance.Advocacy and Stakeholder Management 1.Participate in the advocacy for the Anti-Fraud program. Engage with members, colleagues, regulators, government representatives and law enforcement on advocacy issues.Prepare submissions, briefings, public consultations and other relevant documents to advance the industry's interests.Liaise with CLHIA’s Government Relations and Communications to support Anti-Fraud advocacy.2.Build out the network of members in Anti-Fraud community from Manager to AVP levels.Industry Leadership and Communications 1.Lead non-operational initiatives important to the industry, such as the multi-year education campaign, annual market campaign and member-based marketing and publications. 2.Develop, promote and implement a successful annual conference. This includes design of the program, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors.3.Organize educational sessions for industry participants on new developments and other areas of interest.4.Participate in public speaking engagements to support membership and the Anti-Fraud advocacy.5.Own thought leadership for the team, regarding anti-fraud industry knowledge. Assume additional responsibilities as required to support the CLHIA in general and its anti-fraud efforts.What you will bring : University degree in a related field with 5-7 years experience working in life and health insurance benefits and fraud management.Relevant industry accreditations.Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation).Proven team player with experience working collaboratively with small departmental management teams.Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with individuals at all levels within and outside the organization.Outstanding analytical, problem solving and research skills needed to analyze issues, develop options and recommendations.Assets : -Experience with member-based organization and / or with CLHIA committee-basedgovernance-Program and event planning.-Bilingual (English, French) language skills are an asset.How to apply : Please submit your cover letter and resume to [email protected] CLHIA is committed to ensuring fair and inclusive employment practices.
