Summary
To perform set-up, tear down, and operation of Equipment in support of Printed Circuit Board Assembly Processes and Procedures in a lean manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Set-up and operate surface mount equipment.
- Perform basic levels of maintenance following established procedures, and assist maintenance technicians as required.
- Identify and report defective components.
- Responsible for the accuracy of work-in-process.
- Track work being completed and communicate line status every hour
- Perform minor machine adjustments as needed.
- Control, document and process to MRB non-conforming material.
- Understand and follow all applicable ISO and job specific procedures.
- Responsible for the cleanliness of work area and surrounding work space.
- Inspect each assembled PCB before solder operations to ensure compliance to solder ability standards.
- Other responsibilities as required and necessary for the business.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent experience.5+ years of experience in equipment operation preferred.Knowledge of workmanship standardsExperience with pick and place equipment. Universal Fuzion is a plusSPC experience is a plus.Knowledge of component identification and component nomenclature.Ability to set up and tear down operationKnowledge of component handling, including ESD requirements.Capable of performing job function utilizing written procedures, verbal instructions and visual aids.Basic computer skillsGood organizational skillsAbility to work and communicate effectively in a leanteam environment.or email to WestfordHR@essmanufacturing.com
