MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Multi-Family Project Coordinator in Calgary.

Our client is a midsized construction firm based in Calgary, and places a strong emphasis on design, safety, and craftsmanship in its decision-making process.

They are committed to constructing superior spaces with meticulous attention and care. The primary objective is to deliver construction projects that seamlessly blend aesthetics and functionality through well-engineered solutions, ensuring utmost customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate multiple projects effectively.
  • Assist in site planning and organization, including servicing, grading, electrical, firewalls, truck turning, building footprint, asphalt, and signage.
  • Procure and secure permits and governmental approvals like building permits and health department clearances.
  • Review and manage documentation with owner / tenants, including tendering, issuing docs, floor plans, elevation approval, and material review.
  • Support tendering and estimating processes by reviewing bid documents, distributing drawings, notifying sub trades, and completing material take offs.
  • Coordinate drawing production, distribution, and collaborate with administrative, mechanical, and electrical teams.

Responsibilities :

  • 3+ years of project coordination experience with a general contractor, ideally on wood frame mid-rise projects.
  • Capable of supporting multiple projects simultaneously in various phases.
  • Strong analytical, detail-oriented, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction across teams and organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in MS computer applications, self-motivated, willing to travel, and a valid driver’s license required.
