THE ROLE
Do you have experience and an interest in Auto Hobby repair? We are looking for someone who is keen on using that experience and interest to help facilitate the operation of the CFB Esquimalt Auto Hobby Club workshop.
Under the supervision of the Recreation Coordinator and guidance from the Auto Hobby Club executive team, the Auto Club Attendant will ensure proper registration fees are collected from clients and provide receipts, as required.
They are responsible to organize equipment set up and take down and ensure safety rules and regulations are being followed.
They will also document and communicate any incidents, accidents, or damage and inspect equipment / tools for safety and take corrective action as required.
Above all, their goal is to help members grow their hobby and complete their projects!
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Education, Certifications and Licenses
An acceptable combination of education, training and experience will be considered
Current CPR and Standard First Aid certification
Experience
In ensuring safety protocols and procedures
In monitoring and controlling facility usage
In cash handling
Competencies
Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
English Essential / Bilingual (English and French) an asset
