Magnet is helping our client, a leading construction firm within the locker and washroom accessory space, look for a Credit Collections Manager to join their fast growing team and work out of their GTA office.

This organization have completed thousands of projects across Canada, including recognizable landmarks such as the Rogers Centre, BMO Field and Ottawa International Airport to name a few.

We are currently looking for a dedicated and self-motivated individual to join the team and work out of the Toronto office.

The role will report into the Director of Finance and support our offices in Canada and the U.S.

Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for monitoring all credit terms extended to customers and working directly with our Project Managers and customers to collect overdue amounts
  • Monitoring and maintaining up-to-date records for all customer accounts
  • Managing weekly collections meetings for each branch location
  • Working with our Director of Finance and legal collections firms to escalate problem accounts
  • Standard internal A / R reporting

What You’ll Bring :

  • Experience in a credit and / or collections role with a strong experience in the construction industry
  • Ability to understand and manage all type of deductions (Retainage, holdback etc) & Draw request.
  • Successful completion of post-secondary degree
  • Strong administrative abilities, including proficiency in managing documents, spreadsheets & databases
  • Strong telephone communication skills
  • Experience with an accounting software package
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
