Description
- Strategic Leadership : Develop and implement effective business strategies to enhance the hotel's performance, profitability, and reputation within the local and broader hospitality market.
- Exceptional Guest Experiences : Uphold high standards of customer service and ensure that the hotel consistently delivers a memorable and personalized guest experience.
- Operations Oversight : Supervise all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance, to ensure seamless and efficient day-to-day operations.
- Financial Management : Monitor financial performance, analyze budgets, and implement cost-effective measures to optimize revenue, control expenses, and maximize profitability.
- Staff Management and Development : Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging professional development and growth among staff members.
- Quality Standards : Ensure that the hotel maintains high-quality standards in terms of cleanliness, maintenance, and overall guest satisfaction, in line with the brand's ethos and values.
- Community Relations : Cultivate strong relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community stakeholders to promote the hotel and establish a positive presence within the community.
- Compliance and Safety : Ensure that the hotel operates in compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards, and implement necessary protocols to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.
- Marketing and Sales Initiatives : Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective promotional strategies, advertising campaigns, and sales initiatives to drive revenue and increase occupancy rates.
- Reporting and Communication : Provide regular reports to ownership or corporate management, and maintain open communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role within the hospitality industry, preferably within a boutique or luxury hotel setting.
- Strong financial acumen and proven experience in managing budgets, financial planning, and cost control measures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding business goals and objectives, with a strong focus on guest satisfaction and service excellence.
- Comprehensive knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and best practices within the hospitality sector.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and systems.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.
- A customer-centric mindset and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
