Responsibilities :

  • Oversee the reverse supply chain to meet program plan targets, addressing issues proactively.
  • Ensure post-collection partners comply with Statements of Work and remain ready to process evolving material streams.
  • Implement an efficient connection to the province-wide collection network, providing input on material flow impacting collection services.
  • Design a competitive post-collection solution, review cost-saving opportunities, and stay informed on national EPR strategies.
  • Develop a commodity sales strategy, maximize value, and manage post-collection partners’ performance.
  • Negotiate service provider contracts, employing standards and codes of conduct for post-collection service providers.
  • Direct and manage the Post-Collection team, ensuring integration with the Material Services team.
  • Assist in the end-of-life validation process, manage relationships with supply chain service providers, and support data tool development.

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in project-based roles, managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Leadership experience in large teams, preferably in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Expertise in presenting and working with high-level executives in global marketing teams.
  • Strong understanding of social media and customer care strategies.
  • Negotiation skills, experience in developing audits and playbooks, and implementing strategic guidance.
  • Comfortable in a virtual work environment and ability to collaborate independently.

Education / Experience :

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • 7-10 years’ experience in strategic procurement, waste management, or logistics contracting.

Working Conditions :

  • Flexible work arrangement with travel as required.
  • Periodic extended working hours during peak periods.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
