Position : HR Business Partner

Our client, a company specialized in complex lighting installations and solutions, is looking for an HRBP to join their dynamic team!

Your profile :
- Fluently bilingual to communicate with employees in other Canadian provinces
- 5+ years of experience in HR (not including talent acquisition roles)
- Ideally from Manufacturing / Retail industry
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
- Strong understanding of labour laws, regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to the manufacturing industry, including knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Ability to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with company’s goals and objectives
- Proficiency in managing employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are crucial for building positive relationships with employees and other stakeholders
- Ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically and professionally at all times in addition to maintaining confidentiality in handling sensitive information and documents
Your role :
- Promote the organization's vision, mission, and values, aligning HR functions with company objectives
- Participate in budgeting for resources, training, recruitment, and compensation adjustments
- Plan and administer recruitment, training, career development, benefit programs, performance evaluations, succession planning, and employment equity initiatives
- Develop, recommend, and implement HR policies and procedures, responsible for employee communications
- Offer operational support to management and employees, covering HR policies, personnel movement, skill development, and more
- Handle employee relations, engagement initiatives, and foster a positive work environment
- Identify training needs, design programs, and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Implement performance management systems, conduct evaluations, and facilitate improvement plans
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, safety regulations, and HR policies
- Administer compensation and benefits programs in line with industry standards
- Identify high-potential employees, develop career plans, and support succession planning
- Manage employee data, payroll, attendance, and HR information systems
