CA-Director, Global Technical Services Ontario
Position Summary
We are hiring for a Director, Global Technical Services Ontario to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for all business unit operations with focus on our people, our clients, profitable growth, execution of strategic plans, Crawford vision, mission, and values.
This is a hybrid role within the GTA.
Responsibilities
- Identify and implement business development strategies for growth.
- Establish and execute customer relationships, business development and marketing strategies.
- Collaboration with sales, marketing and key account management team.
- Participation at key industry events.
- Development and execution of key performance metrics.
- Oversee branch operations.
- Participation and execution of budget.
- Forecasting and planning.
- Manage expenses to plans and guidelines.
- Familiarity with all internal systems.
- Internal reporting as established.
- Execute retention and recruiting strategies.
- Collaboration with human resources team.
- Employee appraisal processes.
- Absence and vacation planning.
- Identify and participate in training.
- Planning, adoption, support, implementation of all technologies.
Requirements
- 5 plus years of management experience requied
- Minimum 10 years functional / technical experience in global technical claims, large loss claims or other complex claims is required
- College or University Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Industry related certifications such as CIP, FCIP or CRM required
- Completion of continuing education courses as required by Crawford or required by respective authority.
- Previous management, supervision or service line leadership is required.
- Strong business planning skills with a customer centric approach.
- Strong problem solving and analysis skills.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple different stakeholder.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
