Material Area Supervisor

Overview

The Material Area Supervisor Windsor Assembly Plant will be responsible for managing and directing multiple work teams in a fast paced, high volume unionized manufacturing facility. In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating daily activities to achieve business metrics, ensuring parts are sequenced and delivered within plant footprint area of responsibility, and implementing SPW and lean manufacturing tools and processes as it relates to material flow.

Responsibilities

This position involves creating and developing highly functioning teams, making tough calls, and acting quickly and decisively while holding themselves and others accountable.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent demonstrated work experience
• Ability to work any shift and overtime as required
• Excellent organization, written and oral communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
