Civil EIT

Job Title: Civil EIT (Engineer-in-Training)
Location: Vancouver, BC
Salary: $70K – $85K (depending on experience)

About the Role:

Our client, a well-established engineering consultancy in Vancouver, is seeking a Civil EIT to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience in civil engineering design, infrastructure projects, and construction support while working under the guidance of senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with planning, design, and analysis of civil infrastructure projects, including roads, drainage, and municipal services.
• Support the preparation of engineering drawings, reports, and technical specifications.
• Participate in site visits, inspections, and construction support as required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project deliverables are met.
• Contribute to QA/QC processes and client communications.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• EIT designation or eligibility to register as an EIT in BC.
• Academic or internship experience in civil engineering projects preferred.
• Proficiency in civil design software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, Civil Designer) and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
