Base pay range

CA$40.00 / hr - CA$52.00 / hr

Location : Fort McMurray, AB (Remote Camp)

Schedule : 14 Days In / 14 Days Out | 12-Hour Shifts TBD

Travel : Fly-In / Fly-Out from designated hubs (typically Edmonton or Calgary)

Accommodation : Camp accommodations and meals provided

Position Summary

The Millwright is responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial mechanical equipment at a remote Fort McMurray worksite. Supports safe and reliable plant operations in a high‑performance, safety‑focused industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment including pumps, motors, conveyors, gearboxes, compressors, and rotating equipment
• Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and manufacturer manuals
• Align machinery using precision tools (dial indicators, lasers)
• Diagnose mechanical failures and determine appropriate repair solutions
• Use hoisting, rigging, and lifting equipment safely and effectively
• Conduct inspections and document maintenance activities
• Follow all site safety procedures, including lockout / tagout (LOTO)
• Collaborate with operations, supervisors, and other trades to support plant reliability
• Maintain housekeeping standards and a strong safety culture
