The primary purpose of this position is to provide engineering analytical and project management expertise to support facility design / acquisition / implementation efforts in support of the United States Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Mission.
Duties
- Duty 1 - Leads the Wing enterprise's facilities requirements analysis and planning efforts. Exercises authority to represent the Wing's and Intelligence Community's (IC's) operational requirements in continuing formal and informal discussions with host Installation Base Civil Engineers (BCEs), Air Force Installation Mission Support Center (AFIMSC), Air Force Civil Engineering Center (AFCEC), the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Architecture and Engineering (A&E) firms, general contractors, host nations, and any other party associated with programming, construction, and sustainment of the Wing enterprise facilities.
- Duty 2 - Leads planning and programming for Military Construction (MILCON) projects and Sustainment, Repair & Modernization & Demolition (SRM-D) projects.
- Duty 3 - Provides building and facility design / development / construction oversight through all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Duty 4 - Provides technical expertise to activities, staff, installations, and other organizations in order to resolve difficult / unusual facilities planning, design, construction, and / or maintenance problems / issues, and communicates critical issues to staff agencies, installations, and superiors.

U.S. Citizenship Required.All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period.If authorized, PCS will be paid IAW JTR and AF Regulations.
