We are looking for :
Reporting directly to Gas Bar / C-Store Manager, this position is exposed to all aspects of the Gas Bar / C-Store and operates within approved budgets, policies and programs.
The Manager Trainee works as an understudy of the Manager, completes on the job Co-operative Retail System (CRS) training, attends CRS training programs and learns on the job.
The successful candidate will be responsible for learning aspects of the Gas Bar / C-Store department including but not limited to;
sales, marketing, pricing, inventory control, merchandising, and staff management.
Qualifications
- Career driven and willing to learn.
- High standards in merchandising and customer service.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent supervisory and organizational skills.
- Strong work ethic with a positive and ambitious attitude.
- Possess sound management and decision making abilities.
- Previous management experience would be an asset but not necessary.
- Must be available to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends.
