Base Pay Range
CA$15.00 per hour – CA$15.00 per hour.
Minimum hourly rate: $16.95 (determined based on relevant experience).
Responsibilities
- Ensure safe work processes and emergency procedures are followed (safe lifting techniques, cleanliness, evacuations, theft prevention).
- Handle customer and associate concerns and provide guidance as needed.
- Monitor all Front End associates to ensure proper coverage, coordinate breaks, and assist outlying registers.
- Provide training to associates on systems and company procedures (scanning accuracy, productivity, company programs, discounts, EAS system, and safety).
- Oversee purchase, return, and exchange transactions and assist with error corrections, approvals, and verifying processes to meet company guidelines.
- Ensure all EAS systems are functioning to standard and handle related logs.
- Prepare registers for opening and closing, support cashiers with change as needed, maintain front end cash levels, and complete audits on register accuracy.
- Promote all company sponsor programs and initiatives (credit card service, Walmart protection plan, charity initiatives, and discount programs).
