SharePoint Business and Support Analyst
On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for a SharePoint Business and Support Analyst for an initial 3 month contract in Calgary, AB.
SharePoint Business and Support Analyst Job Details
The successful candidate will be responsible for the SharePoint Online environment. The SharePoint Business & Support Analyst will develop and implement the SharePoint strategy.
SharePoint Business and Support Analyst Responsibilities
- Participate in and manage SharePoint Online projects and solutions
- Expertise configuring form libraries, lists, workflows, team sites, content management sites, user permissions, enterprise search, security, and reporting services.
- Configuring Microsoft SharePoint Online out of the box solutions
- Provide support and guidance on SharePoint and all other content management systems
- Conduct formal meetings with key stakeholders, to interpret requirements, analyze and identify how technology can be used to best support and enhance day-to-day business processes
- Use advanced knowledge of out of the box SharePoint features and tools to recommend solutions that meet business needs
- Improve operational efficiencies and automate business processes by developing Microsoft SharePoint workflow solutions (Power Automate, Power Apps and Power BI)
- Research, analyze, and recommend solutions that incorporate current SharePoint Online framework features and functionality
- Create and maintain technical design documentation including business functions, processes, and system requirements
- Provide technical support on every aspect of SharePoint Online including day-to-day issues and requests
- Provides input towards Microsoft SharePoint governance, vision, strategy, policies, and best practices
- Create and provide training for site owners and site users, produce how-to documentation, reference materials, conduct group training sessions
- Perform quality assurance checks, identify and resolve data and security issues, and manage change requests in a timely fashion
- Responsible for creating automated business process solutions using web forms, metrics, workflows, and dashboards
- Collaborate and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Engage with management, team members, business partners to build trustworthy, long-term relationships
SharePoint Business and Support Analyst Must Have Skills
- Post secondary diploma / degree or equivalent (work experience that provides knowledge and exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts) and 5 years relevant work experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint Online, Microsoft Office 365, Power Automate and Power BI
- Experience with SharePoint security administration and fundamental site management concepts
- Thorough knowledge of sites, permissions, content types, pages, lists, libraries, web parts, out of the box functionality and SharePoint Online best practices.
- Ability to research current and emerging information technologies
- Ability to present content to teams throughout the business or facilitating end user training sessions
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing and in technical and non-technical terms
- Strong technical aptitude, initiative, creativity, teamwork, and excellent customer service skills
- Experience with Information Management and Enterprise Content Management systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to resolve complex issues
- Solid understanding of requirements gathering and analysis techniques
