Marketing Coordinator
Position Purpose and Summary
This individual will advance the mission, vision, and brand of Trinity Western University by coordinating the day-to-day execution of marketing and communications projects across the University on behalf of the Office of University Advancement.
As the internal marketing projects champion with a bias for action, this individual drives forward marketing initiatives that meet or exceed stated project goals while also demonstrating an ability to manage project timelines, effectively plan resources and work collaboratively across teams.
Key Areas of Accountability
Marketing Coordination
- Build, develop and maintain strong internal relationships through exceptional project delivery and project results that meet expectations for being on brand, on time, and on budget.
- Lead all project communication and meeting rhythms with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Proactively update cross-functional stakeholders with communication about project progress.
- Continually manage stakeholder expectations as they relate to project timelines and delivery.
Project Coordination
- Ensure successful project execution and timeline management through such tools as critical paths, meeting rhythms, meeting agenda and post-meeting next steps’ emails.
- Successfully coordinate marketing projects ensuring a smooth and continuous flow of work.
- Ensure brand and messaging of projects align with corporate brand strategy.
- Set clear priorities for internal services team members through regular production meetings.
Marketing Services Delivery
- Leverage other team members and freelancers to successfully execute marketing projects
- Prepare Project & Creative Briefs for manager review for all projects, ensuring communication of all necessary project information (e.
g. goals, due date, specs and timelines)
Maintain proactive and consistent communication with internal marketing services team to ensure they’re apprised of project status, actions to be taken or course corrections required.
Marketing Services Administration
- Ensure resource forecasting for all active client projects is complete and accurate
- Adhere to stated protocols and standards for expense and GL tracking
- Ensure daily time tracking and projects entry into Wrike (project management software).

Standards & Requirements
Education : Business degree, required. Emphasis Marketing or Management is preferred.
Experience : Agency, Consulting, Account Management experience is an asset.
