Job Summary

We areseeking an Environmental expert to join Upstream OperationalExcellence and Compliance (UOE&CD) under the Upstream BusinessSupport Department (UBSD).

The sought position is with theEnvironmental Group under the UOE&CD concerned withenvironmental & sustainability matters.

The function of thisgroup is oversee and report on environmental requirements andactivities to the SVP of Upstream and drive performance throughclose monitoring optimizing processes and providing guidance andsupport to operating departments within the businessline.

Responsibilities :

• Liaise between internal business line andsupport organizations on all environmental matters.
• Track analyze and report on environmental performance inall required environmental fields namely; Flaring SO2 Greenhousegas and other Emissions Water Conservation Energy Oil Spills etc.

• Assess and identify gaps under environmental managementsystems and performance tracking processes and propose mitigationand optimization measures.
• Track and maintainan updated list of internal organizations compliancegaps.
• Identify major or common nonconformitiesand recommend remediation measures.
• Carry outor coordinate workshops and awareness sessions on new requirementsor updates in systems and processes.
• Reviewnew or updated environmental General Instructions and Standards.Collect and consolidate internal organizations feedback on GIs andstandards.
• Provide guidance and support tointernal organizations environmental coordinators.
• Propose strategies and develop programs on the assignedenvironmental discipline to maintain compliance enhance performanceand optimize processes and operations leveraging existing Companyresources and new technologies.

Requirements :

• This role required candidate topermanently relocate at Dhahran SaudiArabia.
• Hold a Bachelors degreein environmental engineering environmental science or chemicalengineering.
• Have fifteen (15) or more yearsof experience in Environmental Management.
• Preferred experience in the oil & gasindustry.
