The Opportunity
The Product Manager position is responsible for activities related to the overall product management life cycle for the ATM Managed Services Line of Business. This position will collaborate with Product Development, Business Development and Client Service Delivery to ensure that revenue and client satisfaction goals are met and that Everlink products support the company’s overall goals and strategies.
This position will also appeal to a candidate with experience in project management, specifically with an aptitude for planning, developing, delivering, and reporting on assigned projects within scope, schedule and budget, in line with corporate procedural boundaries, in addition to experience in requirement analysis and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
Maintain up-to-date awareness of relevant developments in the ATM managed services and payments solutions marketplace from vendors, competitors and regulators.Define product requirement specifications, which guide the development of products and product documentation.Create business cases. Identify and substantiate business opportunities for executive approvals.Assist the Product Development Team to ensure the product designs meet client needs.Lead contract negotiations, including the development of appropriate cost structures.Work with Production Service Delivery to ensure that effective communication and training occurs when introducing new products and services.Make recommendations on pricing for new products and services.Create product collateral for new products and services and maintain the complete product catalogue.Plan and execute projects, including managing project scope, requirements changes, multiple and competing demands and priorities, and determining and conveying impact on budget, time and risk using appropriate fact-based metrics / assumptions.Accountability
Accountable for providing Subject Matter Expert (SME) support within the organization.Liaise with clients on product functionalities, benefits, etc.Ensure the product documentation or marketing collateral materials are up to date and accurately reflect the product in the market.Take ownership of requests for support and ensure effective resolution delivered within time frames that meet the needs of the business.Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
About You
Education & Experience Requirements
Post-secondary education and discipline related to assigned duties (Commerce, Business, etc.).MBA would be considered an asset.10+ years of experience in the banking / payment industry.Experience managing multiple projects of various sizes would be advantageous.Product Management experience is considered an asset.Client Onboarding experience is a plus.Skills and Abilities
Experience in influencing and leading cross-functional teams without formal authority.Demonstrated success in defining and launching products.Previous experience in a product management role for one or more payment products, including mobile, fraud, compliance and processing, is a definite asset for this position.Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.Excellent verbal and written skills to effectively communicate and interact with teams.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the proven ability to identify problems and drive to resolution.Highly motivated and enthusiastic.Results-Oriented.Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and teamwork.All employees must have mutual respect, cooperation, professional conduct, and adherence to Everlink’s code of conduct.
