Role Purpose

Terus Construction, a division of Colas Western Canada Inc., is hiring a seasonal loader operator for our operations.

This is a unionized position based in  Prince Rupert, BC.

Main Responsibilities

• Load material from stockpiles to appropriate piles and trucks.
• Operate a wash plant for safe and quality minded operation.
• Operate all heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment, and clean, lubricate, and refill the equipment as necessary
• Keep facilities clean and tidy.
• Maneuver heavy equipment into loading and unloading positions
• Participate, accept, and adopt the principles described in the company safety program
• Other duties as required

Compensation Data

The anticipated wage range for this position is $44.59 - $45.94 / hour. The final compensation package will be determined based on factors including the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
