Responsibilities
Identify and qualify sales targets and nurtureleads Proactively initiate and maintain relationships with ownersof software businesses by phone email LinkedIn conferences / tradeshows and in person meetings.
Obtain highlevel financial andoperational information about targetcompanies.
- Respond to inbound leads Understandand articulate Volaris acquisition criteria and unique valueproposition to owners of target software businesses both verballyand in writing.
- Assist in M&A pipelineprocess Develop tailored messaging that engages criticaldecisionmakers. Coordinate appointments (webinars inperson meetingsevent preparation etc.
Generate reports on leads set up qualifiedappointments and move opportunities through the M&Apipeline.
Responding to adhoc requests in ahighpressure and timesensitive environment Conduct research toidentify and map out potentially attractive markets to pursue andsoftware companies to acquire.
Perform any other reasonable dutiesas required.
Demonstrate creativity persistenceand credibility in reaching out to Owners Operators and CSuiteleadership.
Skills andExperience
- Holds anUndergraduate degree.
- 2 years of experience ina business development / lead generation role ideally in a B2Benvironment.
- Possess extensive experience withcold calling preferably to founders and csuite executives togenerate an effective acquisitionfunnel.
- Ability to manage a pipeline of leadsand exceed prospecting target quotas. You are highlymetricsdriven.
- Strong communication skills withconfidence in presenting to Csuite executives and businessowners.
- Proficiency in European languages is astrong asset
- Experience working in M&Asoftware or technology is considered anasset
- Familiarity with Salesforce is anasset.
- Highly energetic and proactive innature. Passionate about buildingrelationships.
- Professional attitude and apersistent and solid work ethic. Ability to work independently andin a collaborative teamoriented hybridenvironment.
