Senior Security and Surveillance Technology Advisor
TALTEK is looking to fill the following position for one of their clients : Permanent - Senior Security and Surveillance Technology AdvisorJOB SUMMARYOur client is seeking a Senior Security and Surveillance Technology Adviser to join their team.
This role will report directly to the CIO. The successful candidate will provide expert advice on security and surveillance technologies, including site monitoring, access management, credentials management, intrusion detection and alarm management.
The role requires a deep understanding of security and surveillance technologies, as well as a strong knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies.
RESPONSIBILITIESProvide expert advice on security and surveillance technologies, including site monitoring, access management, credentials management, intrusion detection and alarm management.
Conduct site surveys and assessments to identify security and surveillance needs, risks, and vulnerabilities.Develop and implement security and surveillance strategies, policies, and procedures.
Identify and evaluate emerging security and surveillance technologies and trends.Develop business cases and cost-benefit analyses for proposed security and surveillance technology projects.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of security and surveillance initiatives with business objectives.
Provide training and guidance to other security personnel on the use of security and surveillance technologies.Stay current with regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to security and surveillance.
REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 10 years of experience in security and surveillance technology.
Strong technical skills and knowledge of security and surveillance technologies, including site monitoring, access management, credentials management, intrusion detection, and alarm management.
Ability to conduct site surveys and assessments to identify security and surveillance needs, risks, and vulnerabilities.Experience developing and implementing security and surveillance strategies, policies, and procedures.
Physical security experience (CCTV, guards etc).Experience with Cybersecurity technologies.Experience Artificial Intelligence.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
