Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to department staff regarding the use of instrumentation hardware and software.
• Maintain laboratories, shops, servers, and workstations.
• Assist in developing laboratories and shops in collaboration with academic staff.
• Plan network and laboratory / shop upgrades and expansions.
• Supervise staff, evaluate performance, and manage and coordinate work in the area.
• Coordinate activities with other IT management teams.
• Maintain leading-edge technical knowledge of instrumentation systems.
• Use asset management controls using PeopleSoft.

Qualifications

Remuneration : $71,125.34 - $95,647.76 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

This position is covered by the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE) Collective Agreement.
