Our Public Sector Client requires a Senior Business Analyst (10+ Years) to elicit requirements from internal stakeholders for the development of a data management framework and reporting solution.
The team is responsible for analyzing various sets of data relating to how landfill waste is managed at the municipal level throughout Canada.
The team is looking to develop a data management framework that will allow them to easily store, organize, analyze, and prepare reports for internal use with Partners and senior management.

Responsibilities :
- Lead the engagement between clients and technical stakeholders to facilitate shared
- understanding of business needs and requirements by facilitating meetings, workshops and elicitation sessions with business stakeholders and follow up sessions with the application development team.
- Refine and model end to end business processes for registration and submission of regulatory data in the new application.
- Develop User Stories with acceptance criteria for RSP including Registration,
- Submission and CEPA Registry Regulatory Design components.
- Create artifacts and models to support and clarify business and technical requirements e.g. flowchart, business process model, state machine, decision table, story mapping.
- Manage business analyst product backlog to ensure highest priority work is completed first by the applications development team.
Must Haves :
- An IIBA Certification, or a PMI / PBA Certification, or a Business Analysis Masters Certificate
- Experience using Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN)
- Agile / Scrum Experience
- 3+ years of Government Experience (including Federal, Provincial, and Crown Corporation)
