Job description

Why This Role is Important

We are looking for a hardworking and independent co-op student to support the PC Mastercard Product Marketing team. You will be responsible for assisting the Product Marketing Manager with the delivery of campaigns from concept to execution.

You will support in the marketing communication activities pertaining to customer base marketing for PC Financial Mastercard. Your duties will range from email execution & reporting to ad-hoc customer issues. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong skills in relationship management, autonomous, problem solver, curious, organized with great attention to detail and able to demonstrate their project management and operational skills.

What You’ll Do :

Support in email marketing planning, including brief writing, managing creative development with the agency and timelines

Conduct competitive research and analysis on customer behaviour and postmortems to drive desired function for credit card portfolio, present insights and recommendations for products suite

Act as a liaison between Marketing, Creative Agency, Legal, Data team and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment in all campaigns

Drive customer behaviour using various tactics (campaigns, updates to their digital experience etc.)

Help support our communications strategy by supervising analytics and providing strategic recommendations to improve KPIs such as : open rate, click rate and click to open rate

Support the development email test concepts to optimize results; subject line, visual and CTA, etc

Research email communications standard processes, trends and technologies to assist in email marketing strategy development

Assist in monitoring, tracking, and communicating campaign reporting for Senior Management

Co-Collaborate with lines of business across PC Financial (product strategy, credit risk, digital) and external suppliers (e.g., marketing agencies) in support of various initiatives

Support regulatory / operational initiatives as required.

Support team with ad-hoc requests as needed

Proofread marketing materials for clarity, grammar and spelling

Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
