Concept Naval is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Quebec office, offering a breathtaking view of the St-Lawrence river and the Château Frontenac.

We offer a unique role in which you will have the opportunity to be significantly involved in the company's promising and innovative projects, some of which relate to GHG reduction and thus, be on the lookout for emerging technologies of the maritime industry.

As a Project Manager Naval Architect, you will have the opportunity to :

• Assist clients in their project realization, determine their needs, establish project scopes, and act as a partner for them;
• Execute engineering for multiple projects within the company's targeted deadlines, quality standards, and costs;
• Coordinate deliverables with various players, both internal and external;
• Supervise plan and specification development by draftsmen and technicians;
• Oversee and participate in the design of propulsion systems, structural elements, piping, HVAC and shipboard services;
• Write analysis reports thanks to your mastery of the tools used to assess vessels hydrodynamic performance (seakeeping, maneuverability, underway resistance, and impact);
• Assess vessel stability (study of lines plans and tilt tests) and approve booklets;
• Resolve technical problems requiring research and in-depth analysis;
• Manage all project stages while staying within the deadlines and budget;
• Prepare progress and follow-up reports;
• Actively participate in knowledge sharing (skills and expertise) in order to grow the team and ensure a competent up-and-coming generation of workers.

We are looking for someone who :

• Has a university education in Naval Architecture Marine Engineering;
• Is a current member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ);
• Possesses 8 years experience in a Project Manager role;
• Is fluent, both orally and in writing, in French and English;
• Is structured, methodical, autonomous and rigorous;
• Manages priorities and meets defined deadlines;
• Communicates easily and is agile with customer service.
