Peraso Technologies Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our R&D team. This position will be a key member of the team to support the development, analysis, characterization, and optimization of Peraso’s 802.11 mmWave radio and baseband integrated circuits in real-world conditions.

The successful candidate will focus on device characterization, debugging complex performance issues, and field-testing designs and modules. This role provides a unique opportunity to work on next-generation wireless technologies in a challenging, goal-driven environment.

Peraso is headquartered in downtown Toronto, Canada with a satellite office in Markham, Canada. The role may be based in either location with a preference for Markham and offers a flexible work-from-home schedule.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities :

• Develop, analyze, characterize and validate 802.11 mmWave radio and baseband ICs.
• Debug and resolve complex performance issues in reference designs and modules.
• Conduct field testing of reference designs, and modules.
• Develop solutions to optimize the performance and quality of Peraso’s wireless products.
• Develop and implement test plans, measurement procedures, and validation protocols.
• Develop validation automation workflows.
• Integrate DSP performance metrics into the validation flow.
• Assist with C Model development.
• Develop detailed test plans, specify cover points, review functional and code coverage results and assist in increase coverage.
• Design block RTL.
• Stay current with wireless communication trends, RF technologies, and embedded systems methodologies.
• Special Projects, as requested.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities :

Basic understanding of the following : wireless communications,

RF propagation,

antennas and phased arrays,

PCB and circuit design

Salary Range : CND$95,000-$120,000
