Quality Assurance Specialist

Reference Number : GF01292026 We are currently seeking a candidate who is qualified for the role of Quality Assurance Specialist . The hours will typically be Monday to Friday, 8 : 00am-4 : 30pm. Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to) : - Direct Quality Management / Quality Assurance Systems interface - Interpretation, Gap Analysis of customer / technical specifications - Internal Procedure Development - Root Cause Analysis and Problem Solving - Nonconformance and Corrective Actions - Internal and External Audit Management - Quality Systems Auditing and Reporting - Supplier Monitoring and Development - Key Performance Indications (KPI) Administration - Support in developing NDT procedures Key Skill Requirements : - Understanding of engineering specifications, drawings and written reports - Excellent attention to detail - Flexibility and adaptability to rapidly changing customer requirements - Strong Inter-personal and inter-departmental communication skills - Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment - Problem solving skills - Small group facilitation skills - Ability to effectively follow health & safety and quality processes and policies Key Experience / Education : - Graduate of a 2 year college level program in Mechanical Engineering Tech, Quality Management or similar program an asset - Minimum 2 years direct experience with Quality Assurance Systems / Quality Management Systems - Minimum 2 years’ experience in with Quality Management Systems - Interest / experience in the nuclear or aerospace industry preferred - Direct experience with ISO9001 / AS9100, Transport Canada and Nadcap is required - Qualification / Experience with NDT (with a focus on RT, PT and UT Depth gauging) methods are an asset Application Information : All roles are full-time.
