PURPOSE

The Pro Sales Representative (Preferred location in Vancouver metro area) position consists of creating relationships, servicing and selling CCM product to different pro leagues teams (NHL / AHL / NCAA / CHL).

The primary purpose of the Pro rep is to have pro players endorse our latest product line to support retail sales strategy.

They are also responsible to meet the company and department targets. The focus will be NHL, AHL, NCAA and CHL teams in the Northwest region.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Must have the skills to sell product to professional athletes and equipment managers to hit yearly sales targets and ensure product is delivered on time for customer needs
  • Work with Pro players to get them in the latest products to support retail
  • Manage territory budgets, i.e. expense account, sample account, and territory allotment
  • Responsible to have all NHL, AHL, NCAA and CHL bookings in on time as per deadline dates set by manager
  • Have strong product and customization knowledge required for pro level needs
  • Responsible for all usage entry for NHL, AHL, NCAA and CHL teams
  • Manage all credit concerns to ensure all accounts are current
  • Support the company direction by finding creative ways of getting players to use CCM products that drive and support retail sales
  • Drive NCAA D1 business by signing teams to exclusive agreements
  • Identify top grassroots prospects to enable early engagement, CCM product usage, and foster strong, long-term relationships with the players
  • Create a trust relationship with players to maximize sales and exposure
  • Service athletes in locker room and be available when special needs are requested
  • Build and foster strong long-term relationships with players and equipment managers
  • Understand all category product functionality and options
  • Present different product quality to players with its variance
  • Validate and report on product feedback when asked
  • Manage and monitor samples monthly
  • Manage and monitor T&E monthly
  • Manage and monitor territory allotment budget
  • Manage and monitor objectives and sales per territory

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in sales, order taking, processing orders and hitting deadlines
  • Detail oriented and organized with specs and player codes
  • Experience in equipment coordination for multiple hockey teams simultaneously.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as excellent aptitude for presentation
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills;
  • Good knowledge of our products and custom options available to the players
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong ability to influence others with a teamwork mentality and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated individual with the ability to focus on both departmental and individual growth
  • Ability to effectively work remotely and when traveling to customers sites
  • Exceptional work ethic with high level of professionalism
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Must be able to travel when required within North America (expected 50-60% travel)
