Sr. Marketing Manager LUXE Portfolio (12 Month Contract) - Toronto (Hybrid)

Position Summary :

Working with the Director of Marketing, the Sr Marketing Manager is primarily responsible for the Tom Ford Beauty brand in Canada and has extended responsibilities overseeing the Luxe growth brands (Kilian Paris, Frederic Malle and Darphin aka Growth Brands).

Responsibilities focus on the planning and execution of all 360 marketing programs, ensuring alignment with the North America marketing objectives to increase sales, grow market share and improve profitability.

In addition to their primary brand responsibilities, the Sr Marketing Manager will oversee and develop the strategy for the Luxe Growth brands in alignment with the Marketing Director and the regional leads.

They will be supported by 2 direct reports, a Marketing Manager (Kilian Paris, Frederic Malle, Darphin), and a Luxe Marketing Coordinator.

Product Marketing :

Working closely with the Marketing Director and Planning team, develop the forecast for all new initiatives launch and promotional

Responsible for planning, forecasting, and monthly management of all sample, collateral, and non-saleable promotional forecasts

Liaise with both local and NOAM Planning and Operations teams to ensure consistent follow-up on all projects for on-time shipment of product, collateral, samples and promotional materials to support marketing programs

Leverage available NPD data to develop and form strategic decisions

Partner with Marketing Director on category reviews for the pertinent segments of business which involves thorough research on Canadian trends, competition, and consumer dynamics.

Requires analysis, identification of opportunities and strategic recommendations

Point person for category information : SKU count, pricing and competitive analysis

Support the Marketing Director in the analysis and execution of annual price increase

Oversee the revision of seasonal order forms

Establish and cultivate relationship with NY cross functional teams to develop Canada specific programs and support materials where required / needed

Trade Marketing :

Primary liaison with NOAM Marketing team to align strategies and leverage programming where appropriate and applicable

Participate in weekly calls with the NOAM Marketing team to ensure a timely flow of information on U.S. strategies and any updates / changes that will affect / impact Canadian planning

Partner with retailers to develop and implement trade marketing programs specific to their environment requires knowledge of retailer levers, loyalty programs, VIP opportunities, etc

Leverage Retailer CRM data to understand consumer insights and make strategic decisions

Participate in weekly calls with each Retail partner to align and track upcoming event, promo, launch, advertising information and support

Review and approve all Retailer COOP advertising programs in conjunction with Marketing Director

Work with NOAM counterparts to plan, produce and deliver Visual merchandising assets required for new launches and new door openings creating locally when required

Maintain tracking results from campaigns and events

Create an ROI tracking system

Manage Retail calendars

Create Seasonal Presentations for both Retailers & Field

Host weekly calls with local Field Sales and Education teams to manage communication flow and updates

Consumer Marketing :

Work closely with the Marketing Director and Corporate Consumer Engagement Team on Fiscal Media Planning

Develop and present seasonal Media Briefs to Agency and internal teams

Partner with the Marketing Director and NOAM PR Lead to prioritize Canadian Influencers for approval by TFI (Tom Ford International), ensuring a healthy social media conversation presence in Canada

Work closely with the Marketing Director and NOAM PR Lead on PR related activities and initiatives for the market

Responsible for all system and creative collation and input to support media plans

Partner with Retailers and local Influencers to leverage social to build awareness in the market, as approved by TFI

Ecommerce / Social :

Partner with local E-commerce Manager to drive retailer.com business to achieve sales and Brand goals (i.e., sales plan, rank, penetration etc.)

Develop new programs / content to grow retailer.com business through special programs, customer acquisition and retention

Awareness of social media executions for the brand and those engaged within the brand (i.e., influencers etc.)

Leadership & Growth Luxe Brands

Lead and develop up to two direct reports to become a high performing team that supports activities across Tom Ford Beauty, Kilian Paris, Frederic Malle and Darphin.

Qualifications

Job requirements & Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in a related field / discipline, required

Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience; preferably in the beauty industry

Strategic mindset with strong skills in planning, budget management, merchandising, and marketing

Excellent team player with the ability to build, foster and nurture relationships, as well as develop a team

Highly organized and detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with un-prompted follow-through and agility

Consumer-first, data-driven mindset

Strong digital and social media skills with a solid understanding of media planning best practices

Analytical thinker and creative problem solver that thrives in a fast paced environment

Ability to communicate complex ideas and processes in a simplified manner

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Advanced computer skills

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $86,400 to $129,600. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget.

Salary range may vary based on

geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance

and company results.
