HR Business Partner (Bilingual) - 12 Month Contract Ref : JOB2200

Our Client, as a crown corporation, supports Canadian exporters and the growth of international trade. By offering help to assess foreign government procurements markets, our client positions qualified Canadian exporters to win international government contracts while mitigating risk.

They are currently seeking a Human Resource Manager to provide HR professional services to the employees and management team.

The Senior Human Resources Business Partner plays a crucial role in delivering comprehensive HR services to our client. You will be acting as a strategic advisor to support corporate services and the legal group, providing expert guidance to management and employees in areas such as HR policies, recruitment, labor relations, classification, talent development, and health and safety.

Additionally, you will be skillfully navigating recruitment processes, coordinating classification activities, and ensuring compliance with security clearance procedures and the client's commitment to its Official Languages, Multiculturalism, and Employment Equity programs.

Furthermore, the Senior HR Business Partner spearheads the development and implementation of HR initiatives and programs, including corporate learning strategies and health and safety protocols.

In this role you will champions the client as an employer of choice, attracting top talent through student programs and other outreach efforts.

You will be part of actively contributing to a positive and productive work environment for the client.

What will make you stand out :

Bilingualism in English and French is required

  • 5+ years related work experience in a variety of Human Resources disciplines such as recruitment and selection, classification, training and development, health and safety and labour / employee relations.
  • Completion of a University degree or College Diploma in Human Resources, Commerce, Business Administration, Industrial Relations or a related discipline
  • Experience in HR Planning and creating HR documentation for internal employees
  • Experience with labour relations and working in a unionized environment
  • Experience working with a Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
  • Experience in leading working groups and / or committees
  • CHRP designation is an asset
