We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Orthodontic Dental Lab Manager to join our team in Calgary, Alberta . This pivotal role oversees the daily operations of our orthodontic laboratory, ensuring the timely and high-quality production of a full range of orthodontic appliances such as retainers, splints, aligners, expansion devices, and bonding trays. The position requires a blend of technical expertise, team leadership, and crucial client communication to support orthodontic practices and ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Performance Requirements and Expectations

The successful candidate will be responsible for :

• Operational Leadership : Supervise and coordinate the daily lab workflow, including case intake, production schedules, and monitoring work-in-progress to resolve bottlenecks and meet strict turnaround times.
• Quality Assurance : Oversee appliance fabrication quality across various orthodontic devices, implement corrective actions based on remake / adjustment trends, and ensure compliance with safety protocols and lab standards.
• Digital Workflow Management : Support and manage digital workflows, including scan processing, CAD design, 3D printing, and milling operations.
• Training & Development : Train and mentor junior technicians on orthodontic standards and productivity, conduct performance evaluations, and support professional development initiatives.
• Client Relations : Liaise effectively with orthodontists and practice staff to clarify prescriptions, confirm timelines, provide updates on case status, and proactively address client concerns.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate documentation, including case notes, quality control (QC) logs, and photographic records.
