We have partnered with our client in Mississauga who is looking for a Full Time Permanent Office Clerk to support their team! The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment, exceptional client service and interpersonal skills, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

Position : Office Clerk

Position : Full Time Permanent

Salary : $22-25 / hr

Hours : Monday - Friday 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm

Location : Mississauga, ON. (Tomken Rd)

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and courteous manner and action visits accordingly
  • Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents
  • Receive and forward telephone or electronic enquiries
  • Work on reports from manual or electronic files, inventories and databases
  • Sort, process and verify applications, receipts and other documents
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail manually or electronically
  • Send and receive messages
  • Prepare invoices and bank deposits
  • Provide general information to clients and the public
  • Photocopy and collate documents for distribution, mailing and filing
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Label files according to retention and disposal schedules
  • Label, file and retrieve documents
  • Locate and remove files requested
  • Organize and schedule office work
  • Prepare and monitor contracts and budgets
  • Organize and maintain inventory

Qualifications

  • Post Secondary education in a related field
  • QUICKBOOKS EXPERIENCE IS MANDANTORY
  • Previous office or administrative experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative and proactive approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
