Casual Store Clerks - Dartmouth Area

Casual Store Clerks are responsible for providing high quality customer service, effectively handling transactions, ensuring our mandate to manage safe and responsible sale of beverage alcohol and cannabis is adhered to, and performing other responsibilities necessary for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of the store. The Store Clerk is expected to perform these responsibilities in a manner that is consistent with the Purpose, Vision, and Values of the NSLC.This posting is for multiple locations in the Dartmouth area, possibily including the new Dartmouth Crossing location. Casual Store Clerks are offered hours based on availability, and the hours will vary from week to week depending on the store and the successful candidates availability.

Qualifications

As a qualified candidate, you will : Be at least 19 years of ageHave your Grade 12, GED, or equivalentBe legally entitled to work in CanadaBe physically able to lift 40lbsBe willing to complete a Criminal Record check upon hire, or provide one issued within the last 6 monthsBe willing to work shift work, particularly evenings and weekendsAs an ideal candidate, you will also have : Previous customer service experienceRelevant sales experiencePrevious cash and / or Point of Sale system experiencePrevious experience in the beverage alcohol industry
