Position : Senior Account Manager, Pulp and Paper
Location : Ideally, this person will be located in Ontario.
Territory : This person will cover a territory in Ontario as well as develop a territory in the Central United States (Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota).

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated sales professional to fill the position of Senior Account Manager for our Pulp and Paper industry.
We are looking for a candidate who will bring professional sales experience to this position to maintain a territory with a focus on developing relationships with existing customers and prospecting for new customers in Canada and the United States.
This role offers the chance to travel and meet clients face to face, engaging directly with businesses in the pulp and paper industry for chemical applications

You will frequently travel across Ontario and in various regions in the US to prospect and meet with your customers (Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota).
We are looking for someone with business-to-business experience in the pulp and paper market for chemical applications.

Here are some of the main responsibilities of the Senior Account Manager? :
- Increase sales to new and existing customers by offering Quadra's superior product line during visits, calls, networking events, etc.
- Develop customer accounts by proactively collecting and studying information (prospecting)
- Ensuring excellent customer relationships in line with Quadra's core values and strategic vision
- Participate in enhancing the customer experience related to major accounts by suggesting adapted solutions by identifying key decision-makers and their needs
- Meet or exceed annual sales and margin targets while participating in financial forecasting exercises
- Securing new business opportunities, maintaining current sales, negotiating new contracts or negotiating renewals of existing contracts
- Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics and competitive landscape and use those insights to inform sales strategies, product initiatives and customer engagement efforts
- Ensuring that documentation and reports are complete, accurate and submitted to other departments within the established deadlines
- Collaborate with the sales team during customer calls (product managers, marketing, cross-selling)
- Contribute to and participate in industry events
- Participate in troubleshooting and process optimization opportunities at the customer's site during the development, follow-up and closing of sales opportunities
What are the requirements needed to succeed in this position? :
- Completed bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, science or chemical engineering would be a strong asset
- At least 10 years of experience in business development and prospecting within the industry
- Proven experience (8+years) in the pulp and paper market with a strong knowledge of the manufacturing sector
- Strong understanding of the pulp and paper manufacturing processes, equipments, knowledge of industry trends, challenges and regulatory requirements affecting the sector
- Proven strong negotiation skills, presentation skills and ability to communicate value propositions and technical information
- Ability to be self-motivated, demonstrate autonomy and initiative, learn new technologies and adapt to new situations
- Strong problem-solving skills and capacity to identify customer needs
- Must possess a high degree of organization and planning skills
- Excellent computer skills, must be comfortable with the Office Suite, and experience with a CRM (ideally Salesforce) to maintain strong relationships with existing clients and develop new business opportunities
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time in Canada and the United States, including overnight travel
- Possess a valid driver's license and a valid passport
