About the Role
The Facility Operator reports to the Operations Lead and ensures equipment, facilities, and the warehouse run safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include directing customers, unloading and loading product, maintaining accurate inventory, and supporting a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide regular updates on inventory levels
- Follow maintenance schedules for all equipment and CMN assets
- Complete required Health, Safety & Environment documentation
- Assist with receipt or loading of product (bulk chemical, seed, fertilizer) to the warehouse using a loader / forklift
- Assist with customer pick‑up or internal transfers of product
- Deliver product to local customers, contacting them for location and arrival time if required
- Ensure the facility is kept clean and free of hazards
- Greet and direct visitors and customers who arrive at the location for service
- Work with Sales & Admin team to ensure a smooth customer experience
- Follow Health, Safety & Environmental policies and procedures
Qualifications
Class 5 licence requiredAbility to operate a forklift, loader, and tractorCan work with minimal supervision and be self‑motivated in a fast‑paced environmentMust follow safety, production and quality requirementsProficient with computer systems for inventory and customer account management; familiarity with Office 365 (Teams, Outlook)Can coordinate and manage several projects simultaneouslyWill comply with criminal background check, driver’s abstract, First Aid, WHMIS, TDG & forklift training requirementsAbility to lift 50 lbs (or up to 75 lbs in some tasks)Willingness to work overtime during the spring seasonAdherence to the company Health, Safety & Environmental ProgramIn the Field
