Primary Responsibilities
- Report to the Crew Supervisor to receive all work assignments.
- Work a variety of scheduled shifts as assigned to accommodate maintenance requirements.
- Complete each task and associated maintenance documentation in an appropriate, safe, and timely manner.
- Maintain close communication with senior maintenance personnel to ensure that mandated job processes and methodologies are understood and adhered to.
- Perform daily inspections, pre-flight, post flight and quality control activities to ensure aircraft airworthiness and on-time departures.
- Ensure that approved equipment and materials are utilized, and a high standard or workmanship is maintained.
- Ensure that all components installed on aircrafts are pre-approved and properly certified.
- Assist in keeping the maintenance office, hangar, and shop areas clean and ensure equipment is appropriately stored / returned after tasks are completed.
- Attend training courses as approved.
- Always adhere to the Safety Management System (SMS) policy and ensure a safe workplace.
General Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain knowledge of the company's mission, vision and values.

- Ensure optimal communication with all employees and internal partners.
- Maintain current knowledge of all Transport Canada rules, regulations and policies.
- Participate in special projects as required.
Qualifications
Typically the knowledge and skills required for this position include a high school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum three years' progressive AME experience for M1 License, or minimum three to five years' progressive experience for M2 License.
Skills, knowledge, and abilities include :
- Ability to hold and maintain a class 5 valid driver's license,
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Sound problem solving, decision-making, analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
- Ability to take initiative and ownership of projects and tasks and execute effectively and in a timely manner.
- Strong leadership skills and a hands-on, self-motivated, and demonstrated positive, can-do attitude.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize.
- Ability to support, strengthen and enhance safety initiatives.
Typical Physical and Cognitive Demands
- Work a variety of scheduled shifts as assigned to accommodate maintenance requirements.
- Majority of the work is completed in an indoor or outdoor hangar environment.
- Ability to work on elevated workstations.
- Ability to work long, sometimes irregular hours.
- Able to prioritize and organize objectives and meet deadlines in a fast-paced office environment.
- Must quickly adapt to changing assignments.
- Required to act professionally and use mature judgment.
- Ground and / or air travel required.
